Lerato Mpheshea

Lerato is a PhD candidate in Ocean and Atmospheric sciences. Her research focuses on understanding the key drivers responsible for altering the impact of ENSO over southern African region.

 

Philile Mvula

Philile is a PhD candidate in Physical Oceanography, focusing on the physical properties of the kingklip ridge using a modelling approach to represent the effects of the physical properties on the productivity of the area. She holds an MSc in Biology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. During her MSc, she was exposed to R and it sparked her interest in numerical modelling. She was a Black Women In Science 2019/20 Fellow.
